Run paid sessions and time packages
Use InkPlay to start paid playtime, sell packages, extend sessions, transfer players, and keep cashier history connected.
Staff can sell time, apply balances, move players, and close sessions with a clear branch history.
Before you start
- Set up PC types and time types.
- Make sure target Agent PCs are online and approved.
- Open a staff shift if the branch uses shift accountability.
Choose the station and player
The session starts from the branch floor. Staff should choose the correct station and decide whether the player is a fast guest or a registered account.
- Use guest sessions for quick walk-ins.
- Use registered players when balances, prize points, QR login, and history matter.
- Check station state before starting playtime.
Sell time clearly
Packages and manual time should be visible to the staff member before the player starts. That reduces disputes and keeps cashier work consistent.
- Apply a package, saved balance, or manual playtime duration.
- Confirm the expected end time before the session begins.
- Keep warnings and extensions tied to the active session.
Manage the active session
A live session may need extension, transfer, help, or early stop. Keep every change tied to the active session record.
- Extend time from the Controller when the customer pays or uses balance.
- Transfer only when the destination PC is available and correct for the customer.
- Use staff notes or reports when a dispute needs later review.
Close with history
Stopping a session is not only a timer action. It should leave the branch with cashier, player, and station context.
- Stop the session when playtime ends or staff need to clear the PC.
- Review transaction and session history if there is a payment question.
- Use reports to understand time sales and branch usage later.
Verify it worked
- A guest session can start and end on an Agent PC.
- A package or extension updates the remaining time correctly.
- The closed session appears in history with station and cashier context.
Troubleshooting
The session starts in Controller but the Agent PC does not update.
Check Agent online state and Local Node connectivity for that PC.
Staff dispute the end time.
Review the selected package, extension history, and closed session record before changing future pricing labels.
