Set Controller language

Choose the Controller language and keep staff labels understandable across English and Arabic branch workflows.

How do I make the Controller readable for my staff?

The branch uses a language setting staff can read confidently during sessions, cashier work, setup, and reports.

Before you start

  • Know which language the staff team will use at the counter.
  • Use a staff account with access to branch settings.
  • Confirm key workflow terms are understood by supervisors.

Choose the operating language

Language should match the people using the Controller during live operation. A readable interface reduces mistakes during busy hours.

  • Choose the language most counter staff understand.
  • Train supervisors on both common terms if the branch uses mixed language.
  • Review important pages after changing language.

Review important labels

After changing language, review the pages that staff use under pressure: sessions, PCs, counter, shifts, reports, and setup.

  • Confirm action buttons are clear.
  • Confirm warnings and empty states are understandable.
  • Ask staff to run a test session in the chosen language.

Keep training simple

Do not train staff using screenshots from a different language unless the team is comfortable translating terms during work.

  • Use the same language in training and daily operation.
  • Write internal branch notes using the same terms staff see in the Controller.
  • Review language after hiring or changing the staff mix.

Verify it worked

  • Staff can explain the main actions on the dashboard, PCs, counter, and reports pages.
  • A test session can be completed without confusion about labels.
  • Supervisors know where to change language again if needed.

Troubleshooting

A translation does not match staff wording.

Document the branch term internally and report unclear product language for later improvement.

Staff switch language during a busy shift and get confused.

Pick one operating language for the shift and change it during training or quiet time.
