Manage inventory and store menu

Keep branch products, store menu labels, availability, and sales readiness clear for staff and player-facing requests.

How do I keep counter products and player requests accurate?

The branch has a clean store menu that staff can sell from and players can request from without confusing unavailable items.

Before you start

  • Decide which products or services the branch will sell through InkPlay.
  • Confirm who can edit inventory, pricing, and availability.
  • Prepare short item names and clear prices for staff.

Create the store menu

The store menu should match real branch products and services. Start with common items instead of trying to model every rare case.

  • Add items with clear names, prices, and active status.
  • Group or label items in a way staff can scan quickly.
  • Keep unavailable items disabled instead of leaving them visible.

Maintain availability

Availability matters because staff and players rely on the menu during busy hours.

  • Review sold-out items before peak time.
  • Update prices before staff begin selling.
  • Use staff notes or branch policy for items that need manager approval.

Connect menu to sales

A useful menu supports cashier work and reports. Keep sales inside the Controller when possible.

  • Use the same item records for counter sales and player requests.
  • Review store activity in daily reports.
  • Remove duplicate or outdated items during closing review.

Verify it worked

  • Staff can sell common products from the Controller.
  • Player request surfaces do not show unavailable items.
  • Daily review includes counter product activity when the branch sells products.

Troubleshooting

Staff cannot find an item during a sale.

Shorten the item name, review grouping, and remove duplicate entries.

Players request unavailable products.

Disable the item or update availability before enabling player requests again.
