Understand promotions

Use InkPlay promotion surfaces for branch offers, venue displays, mobile messages, events, and player-facing campaign visibility.

Where can promotions appear inside InkPlay?

Owners and staff understand promotion surfaces and can keep campaigns useful, approved, and connected to real branch operations.

Before you start

  • Decide the offer or message before choosing a surface.
  • Know whether the promotion is branch-only, platform-wide, or event-specific.
  • Assign approval responsibility to trusted staff or owners.

Know the surfaces

Promotions can appear in places players already look. Each surface should have a clear purpose.

  • Use Agent surfaces for players at PCs.
  • Use TV display surfaces for in-venue visibility.
  • Use mobile push or branch offers for players outside the counter flow.

Approve before publishing

Promotion content should be checked before it reaches customer-facing screens or mobile surfaces.

  • Confirm dates, branch targeting, and offer details.
  • Review spelling, price, and eligibility.
  • Avoid publishing offers staff cannot honor.

Review results and timing

A campaign should support branch goals and then be removed or adjusted when it is no longer useful.

  • Check whether the offer changed customer behavior.
  • Remove expired campaigns from public surfaces.
  • Use reports and staff feedback before repeating a campaign.

Verify it worked

  • Promotion content has a clear branch or platform purpose.
  • The correct audience and dates are selected.
  • Staff know how to honor the offer before it goes live.

Troubleshooting

A promotion is live but staff do not know the rules.

Pause or clarify the campaign and update counter instructions before continuing.

Promotion content appears in the wrong place.

Review surface targeting, branch targeting, and active placement settings.
