Track player debts
Use debt tracking carefully for trusted customers, partial payments, and owner-visible cashier history.
Player debts are recorded clearly, paid down correctly, and reviewed by supervisors instead of being kept in private notes.
Before you start
- Use registered player accounts for debt tracking.
- Decide who is allowed to create or settle debts.
- Tell staff the branch rules for credit and partial payments.
Record debt clearly
Debt tracking should be used only when the branch policy allows it. Keep the reason and amount clear.
- Tie debt to the correct registered player.
- Record the amount and reason according to branch policy.
- Avoid using debt for anonymous guest sessions.
Handle payment
Payments should reduce the recorded debt and leave a clear history for staff review.
- Confirm the player account before taking payment.
- Apply full or partial payment carefully.
- Review remaining balance with the customer when needed.
Review debt policy
Debt can create risk. Owners should review outstanding debts and limit who can create them.
- Review debts regularly in reports or player history.
- Limit debt creation to trusted staff if needed.
- Stop adding new debt for customers with unresolved balances.
Verify it worked
- Debt records belong to registered players.
- Payments reduce the correct debt record.
- Supervisors can review outstanding debts.
