Use mobile QR login and player accounts
Help players use the mobile app, scan PC QR codes, link branch accounts, and keep sessions tied to the correct player identity.
Players can scan the station QR code and staff understand how the mobile identity connects to branch sessions and account history.
Before you start
- The player has an InkPlay mobile account.
- The branch supports mobile login and Agent QR surfaces.
- Agent PCs are online and approved for live sessions.
Explain the QR flow
QR login should feel simple for players. Staff only need to explain the visible steps and confirm the branch rules for payment or balance.
- Ask the player to open the InkPlay mobile app.
- Have the player scan the QR code shown on the Agent PC.
- Confirm payment, package, or balance rules before playtime starts.
Match the correct account
Mobile login is useful because it connects the session to the player account instead of creating another guest record.
- Use mobile identity for returning customers and activity history.
- Avoid creating a duplicate branch player record when a linked account exists.
- Review account history if the player says balance or activity is missing.
Support failed scans
If QR login fails, staff should check the practical parts of the flow before changing account data.
- Confirm the QR code belongs to the correct PC.
- Check that the player is signed in to the mobile app.
- Use registered player lookup or guest flow if the customer needs immediate service.
Verify it worked
- A player can scan an Agent PC QR code from the mobile app.
- The Controller shows the expected player or request context.
- The session history stays connected to the correct player account.
Troubleshooting
The QR code scan does not complete.
Check Agent online state, mobile sign-in, branch network, and whether the QR code is current.
The player sees the wrong branch account.
Review branch account linking and avoid creating another duplicate player record.
